I had the pleasure to meet Mr. Greg Mayes 10 years ago at an Carbon Reduction conference in Dallas TX. Over the past years I have gotten to know Greg in a professional capacity when he was Manager of Technical Resources for TXI (now Martin Marietta). Mr. Mayes was the point person for the Martin Marietta Midlothian plant during recent contract negotiations for a new alternative fuel.  His experience and environmental knowledge has assisted us in navigating through some of the challenges during the contract phase and start-up. I have found Greg very knowledgeable and passionate about alternative fuels and their applications, particularly within the cement industry. Greg is highly professional and has been a pleasure to work withRon Green E.E., C.E.M., LEED A.P., GCC, MDP, Energy Integrators, LLC

I very much enjoyed working with Greg Mayes on a large scale alternative fuel project, where we were going to replace a high percentage of the primary fuel source. Greg's technical expertise and partnership approach in the communications and planning made for a very productive and enjoyable experience!   Jim LaDue, Corporate Director Of Business Development, Materials Lifecycle Management Company, Springfield, Massachusetts

I began working with Greg Mayes at the TXI Cement Plant at Hunter, Texas in the early 80’s.  Throughout both of our careers with TXI, we continued to work with each other on many projects.  Greg is a motivated professional that goes far beyond the normal course of work on any project he takes on. Myself and my company continue to work with Greg and would recommend anyone that wants more than they asked for on any project to involve Greg to the greatest degree possible.  J. I have known and worked with Greg Mayes for over ten years and have come to appreciate his knowledge for the use of alternative materials in the cement industry.  Greg uses his knowledge of environmental rules and regulations when looking at alternative materials to always assure compliance, in addition to how these materials will be handled in the operations to achieve economic benefit while not jeopardizing production, efficiencies, or qualityRandy Walser, Plant Manager, Martin Marietta Cement, Midlothian, TX
